For René, it is important to find pictures and not to invent them, to recognise and capture „real“ moments instead of staged gestures, and to see something special in the everyday simplicity.

The Dresden-born photographer, who completed his studies in Berlin, has since worked as a freelance photographer for personal projects and clients such as CANYON Bicycles, Brooks England, Atelier Disko, Dummy, fluter, taz – die tageszeitung, GEO and Die Zeit. In his work René strives to build up, deepen, research and experience as a basis for a meaningful discussion and stance. René’s main goal is to use photography as a means to explore and understand the world around him.
